Three minutes from 61st Street–Woodside

Contact

Come in with your declarations pages, or send them over. For a claim outside office hours, your carrier’s line runs around the clock and this one does not.

  • 000-000-0000
  • 37-32 61st Street, Woodside, NY 11377
  • Mon–Thu 9–6

If anybody is injured, there is a fire, or you can smell gas, ring 911 — not us and not this form. For a claim outside our counter hours, ring your carrier’s claims line, which runs around the clock and whose number is on your insurance card, then tell us the next morning. Report a claim sets out the order and the deadlines.

Quotes, reviews and questions

Send a message

For a quote, a policy review, a certificate request or a question about cover you hold elsewhere. Attaching or describing your declarations pages makes the first reply far more useful.

This is a demonstration site for a fictional business. The form is a live MaiaHost managed contact form and it does deliver, but nobody is on the other end of it in any professional capacity, and no reply will be insurance advice.

Three minutes' walk from 61st Street-Woodside on the 7, and from the Long Island Rail Road platform above it. The Q32, Q33, Q47, Q53 and Q70 all stop within two blocks.

Metered parking on 61st Street and free two-hour parking on the side streets north of Roosevelt Avenue. There is no lot; if you are coming to sign something, the train is genuinely faster.

Sometimes the right call is not to us. Some of what people ring an agency about belongs somewhere else, and saying so costs us a sale. A dispute with a carrier that has exhausted the adjuster and the supervisor is a complaint to the Department of Financial Services, which is free and which insurers take seriously. A settlement figure that needs negotiating on your behalf is a licensed public adjuster. An injury claim against another driver, or a coverage denial you intend to challenge, is a lawyer. Health cover for a household buying it without an employer is the New York State of Health marketplace. We will point you at all four, and we take no fee for sending you to any of them.

What to bring, or send

The declarations pages — the two-page summary at the front of each policy you hold. Photographs taken on a telephone are genuinely enough. Those two pages contain almost everything a useful conversation needs, and reading them is how we work out whether you should be moving at all.

If it is a business, add the lease and any customer contract with insurance requirements in it. Those requirements decide more about what you need than anything else, and they are consistently the item nobody brings.

No fee, and no gift either

Bring the declarations pages

A review costs you nothing whether or not anything comes of it, and quite often the finding is that your current policy is well built and fairly priced. You keep that in writing like any other finding. There is no gift for taking a quote here, which is a statute rather than meanness.
