The first section is the important one, and it is not buried: none of this is a real business, and nothing on this site is advice you should act on.

This is a demonstration site

Woodside Insurance, LLC does not exist. It was invented to demonstrate a website designed, built, deployed and hosted through MaiaHost. The firm, its staff, their histories, its premises, its prices and its work are all fabricated. Every telephone number is the placeholder 000-000-0000, and both licence number is a placeholder for the same reason: a New York Department of Financial Services insurance producer licence is a public record identifying a real licensee, and inventing a plausible one would attach a fictional agency to a real person's credential.

No message sent through this site reaches an insurance producer. No telephone number here reaches anybody. The contact form is a live MaiaHost managed form and it does deliver mail, but nobody is on the other end of it in any professional capacity.

Nothing on this site is insurance advice, and no page here is an offer of insurance. The pages describe how lines of cover, New York insurance law and the claims process work in general terms. They are not advice about your situation, they do not create any producer relationship, and no cover is bound by reading them or by sending a message. Cover begins only when a licensed insurer binds it, at a stated date and time, confirmed in writing.

The premium figures on this site are illustrative ranges, not quotes. They describe what cover of that kind typically costs in this part of Queens. They are not offers, they are not this agency's prices — an agency does not set premiums — and an actual premium is produced by a carrier applying its filed rating rules to your own facts.

The law described here is real; the business is not. The statutes, regulations and departmental positions referred to across these pages are genuine and were accurate when written, and they are summarised for a general reader rather than stated exhaustively. Law changes. Nothing here is legal advice, and a question that turns on your particular circumstances belongs with a lawyer or with the New York Department of Financial Services rather than with a website.

What the prices are

The figures published across this site are illustrative ranges for a fictional business, written to demonstrate what honest price presentation looks like. They are not quotations, they are not offers, and they should not be used as a benchmark for what work costs where you live.

Accuracy

Descriptions of licensing, permits, statutes and remediation practices — including New York Labor Law Article 32, the public adjuster licensing rules administered by the Department of Financial Services, the asbestos investigation required before a New York City permit in a pre-1987 building, and the federal Renovation, Repair and Painting rule — were written to be accurate at the time of writing and are necessarily general. Requirements change and vary by jurisdiction. Nothing here overrides what a licensed professional, an inspector or an authority having jurisdiction tells you about your own building.

Content and images

The photographs on this site were generated for it and do not depict real people, real customers or real premises. The people named on the team page do not exist. The text is the property of the site's author.
